Absolutely love waking up to the sounds of waves.
We wild camped in a fairly frequented area, off the trail, but by two obviously popular benches. Jenn's strategy to not have people thinking anything usual is going on: don't hide, say hello, appear as if you want to chat. Guaranteed, they stop staring, and move right along. Not sure what to think of this.
We rode over the last of the Delta Works today, and took another little ferry into our last Dutch town: Sluis. .Entering into Belgium was a simple matter of continuing to ride down the very canal we were already riding down. There was absolutely no indication that we had crossed a border. Our destination today turned out to be Bruge. Everything everyone says about Bruge is true. Streets and streets of tall brick buildings with beautiful varied fancy fronts. Less talked about is the chaotic cycling, thanks to the rough cobblestones and race car drivers. Shockingly, quite a cute little campsite was right on the edge of town, and well priced!
