Sunday Sept 8
Rejoice in having a roof over your head, warm dry bedding, and a shower that doesn't take tokens or require constant button pushing. The fun in Edinburgh continued as we went for designer (emo style) coffee (inverted Aeropress no less) and proceeded to order our new tent! The big fat frog. Which we can pick up in Inverness... later in the week. *ugh*
We returned to Elise's flat after 1/2 pints to make baked salmon topped with leek....mmmm. The joys of having access to an oven! Then we relaxed by watching a movie. This may not seem like the busy exciting itinerary of a tourist (to the happening city of Edinburgh no less), but it was the perfect break from our tour.

Walking the street of Edinburgh. Notice the toque and jackets. Things are a little colder now. |

Elise with her fixie. |
|
The castle that we did not visit because we are currently not being tourists. |

Madalene and Elise on a bridge. This could be Elise's window view if she bought the flat above. Good access to the river for kayaking! |
